Establishment of BREW Operator
Working Group Aiming to expand the number of operators providing
BREW service as well as continuous enhancement of BREW service, KDDI
announces the establishment of the BREW Operator Working Group based
on the mutual cooperation of the leading CDMA operators in China,
Korea and Japan and Qualcomm, the creator of BREW technology.
Initial partners include KTF and China Unicom . The purpose of
activities in the Working Group is mutual cooperation in
"exchange of the information on contents and developers",
"confirmation of the business model and service", and
"discussion of feature extensions in BREW" among the
participating operators and Qualcomm. |
