Parthus
Parthus Technologies plc and DSP Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DSPG) jointly
announce that they have agreed to combine Parthus with the DSP IP licensing
business of DSPG in a merger of equals. The Merger, which has been
unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both companies, creates a
combined company which the parties believe will have clear leadership in the
market for Digital Signal Processing cores and platform-level IP - the core
technologies for all digital communication and multimedia devices. The new
combined company will be called ParthusCeva, Inc.

BlueStream™ is one of the industry's most comprehensive Bluetooth IP
offerings containing all the requisite technology for OEMs and
semiconductor companies to rapidly integrate Bluetooth into their product
offerings. The platform encompasses a comprehensive radio offering
(including a Silicon Germanium BICMOS RF and CMOS RF); digital baseband
(offered both in Baseband IP and full system-on-a-chip) and finally
complete software stacks for baseband and host interface. Parthus'
Bluetooth platform is heavily licensed by the industry and is fully
Bluetooth 1.1 qualified.
