Bluetooth
Headset
Using a Bluetooth chipset, the M1500 Cordless Headset Solution offers
superior sound quality, longer talk time, superb comfort and stability,
weighing less than an ounce. The M1500 will have an estimated retail price
of $199.95, and will begin shipping worldwide in early summer through
Plantronics distributors, carrier partners and retailers, and will also be
available at Plantronics.com.
The M1500 includes a cordless headset and an innovative new Bluetooth
adapter that plugs directly into the headset port of most cellular phones.
There are 5 variants, which will plug directly into the majority of
existing mobile phones. The M1500 headset comes "paired" with the
matchbox-sized Bluetooth adapter, so the two devices can immediately
communicate without the need for user setup. The M1500 also comes with an
AC adapter which can charge both the headset and adapter simultaneously,
and knowing that mobile users may sometimes need to continue calls even
when batteries run low, the M1500 headset is designed so it can be used
while it's recharging, a capability unique to the M1500. The batteries are
user replaceable.
