Bluetooth Clock Accuracy/Resolution
Original Post: Bluetooth Bit clock accuracy (SIG Forum)
Date: 2000-06-14
Each bluetooth-unit has its own clock and the clock is never adjusted.
The LSB of the clock corresponds to 312.5 micro sec., i.e. the clock has a
resolution of 312.5 micro sec <-> 3.2 kHz.
When the bluetooth unit is in active mode, its clock references to an
oscillator with an accuracy of better than +-20ppm. In sleep modes, an
LPO, whose drift is lower than +-250ppm, can be used, instead.
