L2CAP Segmentation of Voice Packets

The L2CAP layer takes care of the segmentation and
reassembly of ACL packets transferred across devices (this is due to the
limitation of a max of 341 bytes (DH5) of a baseband packet). However the
L2CAP spec does not state where this is done for voice packets. There is a
very simple reason to this, all voice packets in the Bluetooth spec are
only one (Baseband) timeslot in length, therefore packet segmentation
& reassembly is not required. Also in Bluetooth ,voice doesn't go
through L2CAP, it directly goes to the Link Manager, Link
Controller/Baseband or through HCI
