Palowireless Listing FAQ
Some frequently asked questions about adding and maintaining your
listing on our site.
You are not currently logged in.
If you're currently a palowireless member please
log in before continuing.
- Add your organisation to our directory.
To get your organisation or web site listed in our directory visit
our Add a Link page at www.palowireless.com/submiturl.asp
- Select the category which best describes your site.
- Our wizard will tell you whether your site can be submitted for free
or if a Premium Submission is required.
- Premium Submissions are free for Premium Members or US$25 for
holders of Free Membership and non-members.
- Remember to provide accurate details or your listing may be delayed.
- For Free Submissions allow 8
weeks.
- For Premium Submissions allow 7
days.
- Descriptions should be limited to a concise description of your
product or service.
- All entries are approved or rejected by our editors - listing is not
automatic.
- Submissions deemed not sufficiently relevant may be rejected.
- Over-hyped or excessively wordy submissions may be edited at our
discretion.
- We do not add organisations or web sites not involved in some way
with the wireless technologies or industries (no more home pages or
p0rn sites please).

- We welcome submission of items of interest to our visitors.
- If you are a registered member be sure to log
in before submitting your details - it will save you time.
- Free Submissions are only available for certain categories such as:
- Articles
- Glossaries
- News
- Not-for-profit projects
- Tutorials
- White papers
- General-interest items
- Free Submissions are handled when we have time, so allow up to 8
weeks. Additionally, we can only spend a minimum amount of time
reviewing your site.
- We no longer accept free web site directory submissions for
the following commercial categories:
- Advertising (including web site promotion and placement
agents)
- Consultants (Systems integrators, OEMs, developers, contractors,
etc)
- Commercial Products or Services (Hardware, software, services,
etc)
- Development Tools and components (Hardware, software,
components, etc)
- Domain Names (Suppliers of wireless domain names and services)
- Market Researchers (Researchers, publishers, business
intelligence)
- If your site falls into one of these categories you will be asked
to use a Premium Submission.
- Premium Submission are free for Premium Members or US$25 for Free
Membership holders and non-members.
- Our site submission wizard will take you through the appropriate
steps.
- Please don't try submitting your company under a different or
misleading category as it will not be added.
- About Your Listing
- Remember that some categories are only available for paid
submission.
- Submissions deemed not sufficiently relevant may be rejected.
- Descriptions should be limited to a concise description of your
product or service.
- Over-hyped or excessively wordy submissions may be edited at our
discretion.
- Add your company to our Database section.
If you would like us to add your organisation to our separate research
Database section then contact
us.
- A fee of US$350 applies for adding companies to our detailed
database.
- Credit Card Details.
We do not keep any of the credit card details you provide through WorldPay,
our payment partner, for Premium Membership or other site services.
These are used only by WorldPay and are never stored on our site.
- Suggest a white paper, tutorial or other educational resource.
- We welcome Free Submissions for items such as tutorials, tips,
white papers, development tools, topic suggestions, conferences and
other items of general interest to our audience. Please keep them
coming!
- For Free submissions allow 8 weeks.
- Documents can be emailed to webmaster at palowireless.com
- Update a link that's already on our site.
- If you have a site that's already listed then visit our Add
a Link page and resubmit your listing.
- Please mention any changes you would like to make.
- As when adding a link, allow 8 weeks for
Free submissions and 7 days for Premium
submissions.
- Add a conference, seminar, trade show or other event to our
listings.
- To add a wireless-related event to our Events
pages and Coming Soon sections select 'Submit a seminar, trade
show, conference' on the Add
a Link page.
- As of August 2003 Premium Submissions are require to submit events
to our listings ($25 for non-members or holders of free membership, no
charge for Premium
Members).

- What about the information I provide?
- We respect your right to privacy.
- We do not abuse, or disclose to third parties, the information we
collect via our website.
- We will use the details you provide to contact you from time to time
with information about our site or the wireless topics we cover which
we think may be of interest to you.
