Clearwire (NASDAQ: CLWR) and Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) announced Wednesday that the companies will combine their broadband wireless units to create a $14.55 billion mobile wireless communications company to provide internet access, phone service, movies, games and a variety of other broadband wireless data services.
